Harvest Lane Farm is a 4th generation family farm in Lancaster County, PA, farming prime agricultural soils that have produced abundantly for many years.  Our Grandfather, Ira D. Landis, purchased the farm in 1939.  In 1956, my parents, Jacob and Rachel Stahl, began farming and for many years raised tomatoes for the cannery and produced eggs and beef on the farm.  In 1979, Joseph and Eileen Stahl formed a partnership with Jacob and Rachel.  They increased egg production and began growing tomatoes for a local farm market.  Later, we started farming more produce and in 1995 we opened a small market at our present location.

We planted our first peach orchard in 2003.  Joseph and Eileen formed a partnership with their son, James and his wife, Laura, in 2004 when they again expanded in egg production and continued increasing vegetable and fruit production.  High tunnels were constructed for tomato and raspberry plants.  A heated green house was added for early tomatoes.  In 2012 a new cooler building was built followed by the current retail market in 2014.  Keith Lehman, a son-in-law, is now growing heirloom tomatoes for the business.  The 5th generation is beginning to help on the farm!
